Making and canning your own blueberry jam is easy.This can be used as spread,mix with yogurt to add flavor to the yogurt and in many ways....This stays upto 6months.
Ingredients
Blueberries -10oz
Sugar - 1/2cup
lemon juice - 2tsp
Procedure
1.Wash the berries thoroughly take out if any ripe ones or any spoiled one...Drain the water completely.
2.Take a medium sauce pan add the berries(at this point you can add the crushed one or blended smooth puree according to the texture you want.),sugar,lemon juice and mix well.
3. Cook on medium high heat..stir frequently..
4. Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for 20-25 minutes (until all white bubbles disappear). Stir frequently.
5. Cool, transfer jam to a clean and dry plastic or glass jar. Allow jam to cool completely before covering and storing in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 months.
